Elegant early-18th century walnut Queen Anne period lowboy dating to circa 1710

An impressive walnut lowboy standing on four angular cabriole legs terminating in pad feet.The three drawers are set above an arched apron, each retaining its original brass hardware, including backplates engraved with a floral motif. The two side drawers feature their original iron locks, with full plate escutcheons above the handles, a rare and unusual detail.

The top has a moulded edge and shows natural marks and colour variation, typical of a piece that has not been recently re-polished. The lowboy retains a rich, original colour and patina, reflecting its age and high-quality craftsmanship.
