A distinguished Regency mahogany ‘imperial-action’ extending dining table, circa 1820. Constructed in two sections, the rounded rectangular top features a reeded edge above a panelled frieze with a bead-moulded lower edge.

The table is designed with five drop-in leaves and stands on ten ring-turned tapering legs, each terminating in brass cappings and castors, combining practicality with refined Regency elegance. When fully extended, the table measures 448.5 cm wide x 137 cm deep x 75 cm high (176½ in x 53½ in x 29½ in).

Condition: Excellent overall antique condition. Minor surface marks consistent with age; original patina retained.
